Granger, IN-Ancon Construction, Premier Design-Build Construction Firm, is making huge progress on the first Goddard School location to come to our region. Despite the record amount of rainfall, and daily rain days, our project has went from stick frames to eye popping color and timber elements in a hurry.
The red color was selected by the owner to make his building stand out along SR 23 just east of Heritage Square in Granger, IN. The Owner worked with our in-house design team to accomplish the look and stay on budget. The timbers give the location some added accents and provide a welcoming feeling as you approach the property.
“This is the first commercial project along this stretch of open land and is setting the tone for future development along this corridor. This project has set a high standard in terms of design, materials and color selection” commented Ryan Kring, VP|Business Development.
The location has already received a large number of phone calls and is currently accepting applications for a variety of childcare roles.

As a result, quick temporary welding is a strong need. We feel Spark will fill these gaps. As a company we have become more than just a construction company. By having in-house architects we provide true Design-Build services for our clients. Our ABS (Ancon Building Services) division focuses on small projects and maintenance services. Our Pre-Construction team provides site selection and site feasibility consulting services. South Bend, IN- Wing Lovers Rejoice! Buffalo Wild Wings, located on Ireland Road on the south side of South Bend is getting a new look. As part of the brand’s constant improvement to be the leader in design and customer experience, BW3’s will be updating both the exterior and interior of their south side location. Ancon Construction, premiere Design-Build construction firm, is the proud builder of our regional BW3’s and the work will begin at the Ireland Road location in late June.
What can B-Dubs fans expect with the re-model? A new exterior and interior look to match the franchise’s latest “Stadia” brand which will include all new interior seating arrangements, modifications to the bar and more TV’s designed to allow anyone seated to have a great view of the game. Other updates include wall decor and other front of house updates. Ancon recently completed a “Stadia” update for the Grape Road location and south side fans can expect to see a similar transformation starting soon.
Matthew VanSoest, Ancon Designer for the Project, commented, “The Ancon team is excited to be part of this image refresher for the south side Buffalo Wild Wings. The updated imaging program will refresh both the interior and exterior branding – creating a positive and exciting experience for patrons.”

Goddard School is making progress despite the record setting rain that has plagued our region for the last couple months. Our latest project video update shows that the roof is almost closed and we are close to having the building water tight.

We are proud to recognize Eric Jensen for his selection for the 2019 40 under 40 award. Michiana Forty under 40 shines the spotlight on 40 of the region’s most talented and dedicated young executives, professionals and leaders who demonstrate career success and community engagement, all before the age of 40. The 2019 class will see its 500th honoree and more! 2019 marks the program’s 13th year. This program is an annual collaborative effort between the South Bend Regional Chamber, Young Professionals Network South Bend as well as other partners and chambers in the Michiana region.

Eric became a licensed architect at the age of 26, becoming one of the youngest licensed architects in the State of Indiana and in the Michiana region. During his work at Ancon Construction, he’s overseen many familiar projects include the new Potawatomi Zoo entry building and the United Way South East Community Center. The best advice he’s been given is, “Be authentic, be genuine, be YOU”.
